Learning Activities: 

THE FUTURE OF TOURISM 

 A1   Work in groups. Discuss these questions:

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of tourism in your region?
  • Which of the points made in the broadcast are most relevant to your country?
  • In general, how well do tourists in your country behave?
 B1  Look at this advice to tourists. Which of the tips are Dos and which are Don'ts? Fill the blank with Do or Don't.



 B2  Work in pairs. Which of the tips do you disagree with? Why?






 C1  Work in pairs. Look at these pictures showing tourists behaving badly. What are they doing? Which of the behavior do you think is the worst? And which is the least bad?











 C2  Write '10 tips' to encourage visitors to your country to behave responsibly. Refer to the tips in B1 and the pictures, and perhaps add some points of your own.

 D1  Watch the video below about the future of tourism after CoViD-19. make an essay (minimum of 150 words) based on the results of your understanding of this video.
